Adjutant Mike - July 2026
There were a number of good stories broadcast recently telling the Veteran story. If you did not see them here's some information. ( You can see both shows on "You Tube")
Stepping back in time to WWII, a very impressive video broadcast was the story of the Women of that era. Stories of their combat, their importance in the production of equipment and weapons, their heroics in saving the injured and wounded, the critical role played in creating the Nuclear weapon to end the war.
Make it stand out
Check out PBS's "Women of WWII, the Untold Stories". On May 29th the PBS News Hour interviewed ABC's Martha Raddatz and reviewed her recently published book called "The Hero Next Door".
The Story was touching but the most important question asked and discussed concerned how today's citizens are so far disconnected from the Military. How few of today's friends and neighbors have any reality of what it takes to one day being in school or taking care of children and the next being in stressful life challenging situations and conditions. To even personally Know a Veteran or active Military!
The other important point? What Military service provides those who serve. You are all heroes.
Thank You for allowing us all to make it to 250 years
