Adjutant Mike - June 2026

The City of Grass Valley hung the banners we have been talking about these past months on Monday May 4th. The positive response to the City has just been over the top since their placement. Many inquiries on how to submit for a family member's banner.

I had the good luck of having a visit from Jay Cooper this past month. SGT. Jay was USAF at Beale, Jay's son is a retired USAF Col. and Jay's Grandson is a CPT USAF active now. We'll be doing banners!

Trust me, the program will expand .... Take a walk down So. Auburn St from the Main St. intersection to Neal Street.

Sandra is one of the honored VETS and shared this photo. She also states she got emotional when seeing Oral's banner.

Join us on Saturday June 6th and experience some great handmade arts and some great crafts! The Hall will be open for the day hosting some 30+ artists and craftsmen. Included in the mix will be Mike Llewellyn from "Image Nation". You may recall Mike encouraging, several of our Compadres, like Oral Stallings, Doug Becker and Jason Tedder, to create great photos. The results of that effort were a day long display at the Rood center and in Truckee of many veteran artists! Mike will host the Veteran's Art tables at the June 6th event.
